Where I’m from, the front porch is where you hang out, tip your hat to passersby, engage in chatter, get juicy gossip, and arrange for the next backyard shindig.

I'm a somewhat old school frontiersman at heart, valuing face-to-face interactions and genuine connections over digital ones. A campfire over a Slack chat any day. I believe, that cooking and sharing meals is the most sincere form of care and connection, that software should serve people, and that meaningful conversations are the glue that binds communities together, but small talk makes evenings more magical.
