App Timeline

What’s done, what’s happening, and what comes next for the apps. Dates ahead are plans, not promises.

   Huginn’s field trial

Limited Alpha release for field testing. Feedback from this period will shape the final 1.0 release. Functionality: log locations and movements throughout the day, using Apple’s own Core Location framework and data feeds. Add notes and observations to data, interoperate with Muninn.

3. Mid-October 2026 · Huginn

   Huginn 1.0 on TestFlight

4. Mid-October 2026 · Muninn

5. Late October 2026 · Huginn and Muninn

   Huginn and Muninn iPhone Duo

Let’s take advantage of that beautiful new workflow with effectively two different screens. Also time to field test multiple device reporting, since many users might still bring their single-screen iPhones for the superior cameras.

6. Mid-November 2026 · Huginn

Huginn 1.0 (Via Appia) on the App Store

Having Huginn out first ensures that Muninn has everything it needs to ingest timeline data. Knowing Apple, rejection is always a possibility, so better to have Huginn approved first.

7. Once Huginn is accepted · Muninn

Muninn 1.0 (Walden) goes to App Review

   Next stop, the App Store.
